Historic Blairstown Day

Second Annual Historic Blairstown Day

Dust off your bonnets and bow ties ladies and gentlemen -- and get ready to party like it's 1899!

Historic Blairstown Day, sponsored by the Blairstown Museum, is a celebration of Blairstown's heritage. Spend the day enjoying the ambiance of a bygone era with nostalgic music; antique, craft and food vendors; classic car show; a birthday celebration for town founder John Insley Blair and much more.

Proceeds from Historic Blairstown Day benefit the Blairstown Museum and its mission to collect, research, document, protect, preserve, exhibit and promote the unique history and heritage of the Township of Blairstown, New Jersey for the benefit of residents and visitors.

We would like to thank all of the local businesses that are supporting this event, as well as the Blairstown Township Committee. A very special thank you to Warren County Freeholders for making this day possible.

Event Parking

For your convenience, free public parking is located throughout Blairstown's Historic District, including Footbridge Park. Additional free public parking can be found at the First Presbyterian Church of Blairstown. Blairstown's Historic District is relatively small, so the burden of walking from these locations to Main Street and your favorite village eateries and shops should not be a problem. Please be mindful to not block driveways and please do not park in private lots.

Historic Open House Tour : First Presbyterian Church of Blairstown

The First Presbyterian Church of Blairstown was founded in 1840. Realizing they had outgrew their original facility, in 1868 the church decided to build a new structure. The cornerstone of the new building was laid June 1, 1870. The new steeple towered upwards to 160 feet. Throughout the day, the church will be offering a free Historic Open House Tour of their 148 year old building.
